St Stephen's Green Trust

Orla O’Neill CPA is the Trust’s Grants & Development Director. Her role in the organisation is to support applicants make their case for funding to the Trustees. She manages all of the Trust’s grant schemes, undertaking grant administration, assessment, monitoring and evaluation. She is assisted in the financial management of the organisation by the company accountant. She supports the Trustees in their governance function including the production of Annual Reports and Financial Statements. The Trust does not have a public office as it prefers to meet organisations where they operate to get a good sense of the work.

Orla sits on the board of Philanthropy Ireland, Cross & Passion College and several community development organisations where she lives in Kildare.

She is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has previously worked in Schizophrenia Ireland, Nexus Research, Edelman Public Relations and several accountancy practices. Her education includes a PG Dip in Grantmaking Management, Cert in Voluntary Sector Management, Diploma in Public Relations and BA in Economics & Politics.
