The Traveller Justice Initiative (TJI), formerly the Travellers in Prison Initiative, was developed by SSGT in 2014 as a response to the particular needs and circumstances of Travellers in the criminal justice system in Ireland. From 2014 to early 2025, TJI was an operational programme of SSGT. However, since April 2025, TJI has been hosted by the Irish Penal Reform Trust (IPRT). For resources from this date, please visit the IPRT website.
